The bottom bar (The ones that have Safari and Photo Booth on it) How do i make it stay up? I accidentally pressed something and it wont stay up anymore.
Hello Maria,
That bottom bar is called the Dock. If you move your mouse pointer down to the bottom where the Dock is, it should pop right up for you to access.
You make all of your changes through the System Preferences. That’s the icon with the gears, usually found on the dock, but you can also access them from the Apple menu up at the top-left of your computer screen. It’s Apple > System Preferences… menu command that will bring the System Preferences up.
Under the Personal heading, click on the Dock icon. At the bottom, uncheck the Automatically hide and show the Dock check box. This will keep the dock up for easy access. You can also adjust the size as well as great animated effects that the icons do on the Dock.
You should consider getting a book on Mac OS X. David Pogue’s "Mac OS X — The missing Manual" is my favorite. You could also consider Robin Williams’ "The Little Mac Book".
Also, consider joining a Macintosh Users Group. A Mac Users Group is an excellent resource that teaches you how to get the most from Macintosh. Go to this web site and type in your postal zip code and it will tell you where the closest Mac Users Group meets in your area.

Best of luck.
