Facebook photo Plug-In fails, Safari crashes?

Hi,
I recently switched from a pc to mac, and therefore from explorer to safari. when I went to upload photos for the first time I had to install the Facebook Plug-In.pkg however when it got to the end it failed, saying "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I tried to download it again a couple of times and each time it failed, so I decided to use the simple photo uploader instead. However when I went to use that it made Safari crash, closing everything. This has happened every time I’ve tried since.
I never had a problem like this with explorer, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
Try Firefox or Chrome for Mac instead. Safari isn’t that great.

have you looked into Mozilla to see if they have a brouser for Mac?

It also consistently froze Firefox on a PC. IE is the only browser I get it to work with.

You could try a different browser such as Firefox for the Mac. I use it all the time(: Good luck!!
