Boabeng – Fiema Monkey Sanctuary

The Boabeng Monkey Sanctuary is situated on the way to the Mole National Park and is Ghana’s most famous example of African conservation.
It is home to over160 Geoffroys Pied Colobus and 350 Campbell’s Mona Monkeys. |

This park is home to over 94 different species almost extinct animals. Here they are able to live in their natural habitat.
The animals include Elephants, Lions, Antelopes, Buffalo, Monkeys, Leopards, etc.
You will be guided through this park on “Foot Safaris” by trained guides.
The North of Ghana is a mixture of Trans Saharan Architecture and most of the buildings and villages are still being built in the old Kraal styles. In Larabanga we will visit the oldest Mosque in Ghana.

You will take a trip down the Volta Lake on the Yapei Queen for two days living the Ghanaian way, experiencing Ghana from all aspects. The Yapei Queen starts from the port in Yeji and ends at Akosombo.
The ship transports everything from people to domestic animals to food stuffs. During these two days, it stops several times to pick passengers and their wares.
