no, because you might get attacked by 50 wolverines. Better take a 12 gauge with you. thats what i would do in a situation like that.

A lion would kick it’s ass but, I hear beavers play well with pythons.

Well, at least it can always cut you a walking stick… or chew down the tree you’ve climbed up into to escape from another wild animal.
