During the past few years the African Continent has joined the World Fashion Designers with Colorful African Fabrics presented in African and International Styles.

A Canoe Regatta is held in the Elmina Fishing Harbor.
A Candle Light Procession leads from London Bridge in Cape Coast to the Door of no Return in the Cape Coast Castle in memory of those that passed through the door of “No Return” into an unknown future.
Wreaths are laid in front of the Dungeons of the Elmina Castle and Cape Coast Castle in memory of those that never came back.
Africans from the Diaspora who take part in this ceremony are given a traditional Ghanaian name.
Drama Groups from Ghana as well as from other African Countries and the Diaspora give performances reminding us of the ordeal the lost children of Africa had to endure.
