I am thinking about getting together a group to go on a hamas safari. you would pay so much money and be allowed one hamas extremist per hunt. comes complete with pictures of your trophy. and your allowed to go through his pockets for any souvenirs.

I need to restore my iPod touch, and I know all the music, photos, videos, etc. will disappear, but will the preloaded apps and photos like Safari, Calendar, etc. and the default wallpaper photos disappear as well?

I thought the game might have been called Safari Hunt or something along those lines. It was an Atari game.
It sounds like "Jungle Hunt" (although the "indians" are actually cannibals). See the link in the source for more information on the game.
